- this song was originally written by Delisle Tron 3000, a member of the band The Approachables (also on Fauxtown Records), in the year 2000, and then brought the song to his friend Young Coconut, who helped him hash out the lyrics and vocal melody
- the song went on to become an Approachables set favourite, albeit for a short time
- two versions of the song were recorded in the early days, one in 2001, with Delisle Tron and the Bos Bros, and another featuring the Approachables and recorded by Ted Gardham, but this version was not very good, and got shelved and has not been heard by anyone since
- in 2010 Young Coconut decided to start playing the song just because he always liked it, and it became part of his solo set which is ongoing
- the song was then brought to the 'Rents in 2013 and given a slightly different spin, the version of which can be heard here
- the 'Rents version is very similar to the original version of the song, although there are numerous notable differences, including Pickle's spry drumming and admittedly bizarre backup vocals, a crazy cool bassline courtesy of J.K. Phil Osé, and the lead vocal sensibilities of Jillian Collins and YC which include some different melodic twists from the original
